The results are in and they are truly spectacular!
In addition to the $40,000 Truscott grant, we raised over $70,000 from 133 of our loyal and generous donors for a total of over $110,000.
This is our most successful Annual Appeal ever. As you know, sponsorship funds cover about half of the cost of the program which equals the education part of the program. Every year we need to raise additional funds to cover the other costs of the program such as caseworker support, breakfast, and lunch school days for the primary students, Saturday Program, running the computer lab, and all the other costs of the program. This will go a long way towards funding those needs.
