For nearly 20 years, Friends of Ngong Road has transformed the lives of children growing up in Nairobiās informal settlements. Our model is simple: surround each student with the education, health, community, and employment and entrepreneurial support they need to thrive.
Today, we stand at a pivotal moment. Over 100 children are waiting to join our programābut funding is the barrier. Here We Go is our rallying call and our strategy to meet this challenge and grow for the future.

WHO WE ARE
OUR TEAMS
Our work is powered by two dedicated teams working in close partnership across Nairobi and the U.S. Together, we create the conditions for students to thrive ā from their first day in the program to their first day on the job.
Our Kenyan partner, Ngong Road Childrenās Foundation (NRCF), leads the direct work with students and families. Case managers and program staff are the heartbeat of our mission.
Our U.S. team focuses on fundraising, strategy, and building the connections that sustain our growth. With the support of a committed board and volunteers, we engage donors, partners, and advocates to ensure the resources are in place for every child we serve.
