Alumni Gathering 2023

The Ngong Road Children’s Foundation hosted its annual Alumni General Meeting at the Impala Ground on Ngong Road on December 3rd. More than 60 enthusiastic alumni attended, making it a day filled with smiles and anticipation.

The event kicked off with a delightful breakfast, creating a welcoming environment for alumni to connect and share their experiences. Callen Moraa, the assistant Alumni Coordinator and alumni case manager extended a warm welcome to our esteemed alumni, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and unity. During the event, Mr. Paul Dalizu delivered a compelling keynote address, stressing the significance of protocol, respect, perseverance, and trusting the process in personal and professional growth.

A summary of the alumni representative meeting with Paula Mayor, the program’s founder and president, provided insights into ongoing issues, paving the way for resolutions. Maurine Ngetich, the Data Protection Officer, outlined essential guidelines on personal information.   n,Transparency in data usage by Ngong Road Children’s Foundation was ensured through the distribution of consent forms to the alumni.

The day’s highlight was the election of new alumni representatives, granting alumni a voice in shaping the foundation’s future. The day concluded with a delightful lunch, providing a relaxed setting for alumni to interact and capture memories during a dedicated photo session.

In the spirit of unity and progress, the Alumni Gathering 2023 proved to be a resounding success, strengthening the bond within Ngong Road Children’s Foundation’s alumni community.
