Meet Abigael

  • Age: 11
  • School Level: Grade 6
  • Favorite Hobby:
  • Aspires to Become:
  • Home Background Information: She lives with her parents and sibling in a small single-room house made of iron sheets in a densely populated area. The space is very limited, serving as both the living and sleeping area for the entire family. They have minimal furniture, and privacy is created using old curtains to separate spaces. Both parents rely on casual jobs such as washing clothes, cleaning houses, and doing small manual tasks to provide for the family. However, their income is irregular and often not enough to meet basic needs such as food, rent, and school fees.
  • Personality Traits: Determined and disciplined.
  • What getting a sponsor would mean: Getting a sponsor will reduce the stress and financial burden on the family by ensuring the child’s education is well supported. With school fees and other educational needs taken care of, the parents will have some relief from the constant struggles.
