Friends of Ngong Road,  Marketing and Engagement Committee
Leslie Walstrom is an accomplished professional with a proven track record in Financial Services Marketing and Customer Experience. With over 30 years of experience, she has demonstrated exceptional skills in brand and content strategy, client segmentation, digital experience, and business transformation.

Currently, Leslie is a member of the Boston Medical Center Philanthropic Trust, serving as an advocate for the hospital’s commitment to health equity in Boston. She is also an active volunteer and supporter of Rosie’s Place, a Boston-based women’s shelter, and an athlete guide for Dare2Tri, a nonprofit organization dedicated to adaptive sports. She led the Board of Directors for ImprovBoston, a non-profit arts organization, and was a member of the Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Advisory Board.

Responsibilities at FoNR:
Leslie currently chairs the Marketing and Engagement Committee, serving in key roles to expand the organization's reach and impact.

Why I am involved with FoNR:
I’ve long been an admirer and supporter of the work that Friends of Ngong Road does. Not only does the organization make a long-term investment in educating kids in Kenya, but it also provides the tools they need to navigate life and pursue work that matters to them.

Our Board of Directors decides what to fund, and retains full discretion and control over the use of every gift — including gifts given in response to a particular appeal.
