Wepowerment Legacy Circle, The Planned Giving Program of Friends of Ngong Road

Wepowerment defines the powerful support system that surrounds the students in our program. It’s celebrating the support of families, sponsors, donors, staff, and volunteers that all contribute to a student’s life transformation. It’s recognizing that we are all connected in our mission to help empower Nairobi children living in poverty to transform their lives through education and support, leading to employment for generations to come.

2023 is the founding year of the Wepowerment Legacy Circle. We invite you to join the 11 declared members who seek to create a legacy of educational opportunity.

You have the opportunity to create a legacy of education for Nairobi students living in poverty. A gift from your will, trust, retirement account, or life insurance policy will help ensure the long-term future of this organization, create a legacy of education to honor your family, and benefit students who seek to transform their lives.

This Declaration of Intent Form can be sent to Carole Patrikakos, Executive Director.

What Are the Benefits of Leaving a Legacy?

A planned gift to Friends of Ngong Road allows you to decide what your legacy will create for the next generation. Legacy gifts may allow you to pledge a more sizable gift than you might be able to consider during your lifetime. You can specify help to go to the area of greatest concern to you, such as endowing a scholarship, food, camp, or simply for use where most needed. You can specify that your gift creates a named endowment in perpetuity, or that it be available to meet current needs.

Please contact Carole Patrikakos, Executive Director, for further discussion (carole@ngongroad.org).
