  • Celebrating Academic Excellence and a Historic Milestone

At Ngong Road Children’s Foundation (NRCF), we believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. Today, we take great pride in announcing the outstanding performance of our 2025 high school graduates.

Last year, we had 18 candidates sit for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). The results are in, and they are nothing short of inspiring.

A New Milestone for NRCF

For the first time in our organization’s history, we have achieved a record-breaking number of university qualifiers. Out of our 18 candidates, 11 students have qualified to pursue Degree courses.

This is a monumental achievement that highlights the hard work of our students and the dedication of our support system, in addition to our university qualifiers, 3 students qualified for Diploma courses, and 4 for Certificate courses.

We are proud to say that 100% of our candidates will be advancing their education. Every single student will be joining various Universities, Colleges, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across the country to further their skills and careers.

Meet Our Top Achievers

While the entire class performed admirably, we want to spotlight our top four students who have set the bar high with their results and their ambitions.

David is our top student and has his sights set on the world of design. He looks forward to pursuing Architectural Science.“Thank you to my sponsor for the continuous support and for impacting my life.” — David
Wycliffe rounds out our top four with a strong interest in technology and innovation. He plans to become a Mechanical Engineer.“I am more than grateful to have a sponsor who really supports me, and I look forward to giving back to the community.” — Wycliffe
Mitchelle, our second-highest performer, has a passion for healthcare and intends to pursue Nursing.“I’m really grateful to my sponsor and Ngong Road Children’s Foundation for always supporting my dreams.” — Mitchelle
Kimberley is driven by business and looks forward to becoming a future Entrepreneur.“Thank you so much, Barbara, for supporting me, and I love you so much.” — Kimberley

The Journey Ahead

The journey doesn’t stop at the exams. As these young adults prepare for the next chapter, they are currently engaged in our Life Skills classes, which help equip them with the social and emotional tools needed for life after high school.

Looking forward, the graduates will begin short courses in May. These courses are designed to help them identify their strengths and potential career paths before they officially join their respective tertiary institutions in September.

A Message of Gratitude

To our sponsors, donors, and the entire NRCF community: this victory belongs to you as much as it belongs to the students. Your unwavering support ensures that every child has the opportunity to stay in school and reach their full potential.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025! You have made us incredibly proud, and we wish you all the best as you start this exciting new journey.
